§ 01Free tools

A small set of useful, no-sign-up tools.

Practical utilities we built because we kept getting the same questions. Free to use, nothing stored, no email needed. New ones land as we build them.

  1. § 01

    Phishing email checker

For anyone who has had a suspicious email land in their inbox

Paste the From line, the Subject, and the body of an email you are not sure about. The checker looks for impersonated senders, lookalike domains, urgency language, suspicious links and risky attachments, then gives a plain-English verdict. No sign-up, nothing stored.

    Why it helps
A sensible second opinion before you click. Most phishing emails fail two or three of the checks below. Even one match is reason to pause.

  2. § 02

Has my password been in a breach?

For anyone reusing the same few passwords across many accounts

Type a password and the tool does two things at once. First it scores its strength against length, character variety and common patterns. Second it checks the password against more than a billion known leaked passwords from past data breaches. The privacy trick: your password is hashed in the browser and only the first five characters of that hash leave your device.

    Why it helps
Most password leaks come from reusing the same password across many accounts. Knowing which of yours have been seen in a breach is the first step to fixing it.

  3. § 03

    Free password generator

For when you need a new password and want it actually good

Generate a memorable passphrase (four random words, lightly capitalised, optional digits) or a strong random password (configurable length, character classes, look-alike removal). Runs entirely in your browser using the cryptographic random number generator. Nothing is sent or stored.

    Why it helps
Most people pick weak passwords because picking good ones is annoying. A generator removes the friction. Pair it with the breach check above and a password manager and you have done most of the work most people will ever need to do.

  4. § 04

    Which Microsoft 365 plan?

For small businesses unsure which Microsoft 365 licence to buy

Microsoft publishes four small-business plans and a long comparison table most people do not have time to read. Answer five plain questions about your team size, what you need and how you work, and we will recommend the right plan with a rough monthly cost. No sign-up, no email needed.

    Why it helps
Picking the wrong plan is one of the most common money-wasters we see. Some businesses pay for Premium when Standard would do. Others sit on Basic when they actually need installed Office apps. Five questions tells you in seconds.

  5. § 05

    Wi-Fi speed test

For anyone whose Wi-Fi feels slower than what they pay for

Runs a real broadband speed test in your browser using Cloudflare's public speed endpoints. Measures download, upload and latency, then pairs the numbers with a plain-English read on what they mean for streaming, calls and working from home. No app, no sign-up.

    Why it helps
Most "slow internet" complaints are Wi-Fi, not the line. Running the test in two spots, once next to the router and once where it feels worst, usually tells you which it is in under a minute.

On the way

A breach lookup that tells you which of your accounts have appeared in known data leaks. A password strength checker that runs in your browser and never sends anything to us. A small Wi-Fi speed reader. We add tools as we find ourselves explaining the same thing to enough customers.

§ 03 · Get in touch

Need a real person to look?

If a tool flags something you would rather talk through with a human, we are at the desk. Tell us in your own words and we will reply the same working day.
