§ 01Microsoft 365 support in Kent

Microsoft 365, set up properly and looked after.

A clean Microsoft 365 setup, careful mailbox migration from Gmail, Outlook or older providers, and sensible day-to-day admin for small businesses across Kent.

§ 02What we look after

Mailboxes, files, accounts, the lot.

From the initial setup to day-to-day admin, we handle the bits that look simple but are easy to get wrong.

  • · 01

    New tenant setup

A clean Microsoft 365 setup on your own domain, with sensible defaults, multi-factor authentication on by default and tidy admin from day one.

  • · 02

    Mailbox migration

Moving from Gmail, Outlook, Exchange or an older provider. We migrate mailboxes, contacts and calendars without losing email, and we plan the switch for a quiet time.

  • · 03

    Licences and billing

We help you pick the right licences for the team and review them each year, so you stop paying for things nobody uses.

  • · 04

    Shared inboxes and groups

Distribution lists, shared mailboxes and team aliases set up properly, with the right access for the right people.

  • · 05

    OneDrive and SharePoint

A clear file structure with sensible sharing controls so the team can find what they need, instead of hunting through inboxes for attachments.

  • · 06

    Teams for small businesses

Teams set up for calls, chat and meetings, without the chaos of fifty channels and a hundred notifications nobody can find.

  • · 07

    Account security

Multi-factor authentication, conditional access where it helps, password policies and a sensible plan for joiners and leavers.

  • · 08

    Day-to-day admin

New starters, leavers, password resets, licence changes and the quick fixes when Outlook has a moment.

§ 03A typical setup

What good looks like for a small Kent team.

Most small businesses do not need anything fancy. A solid Microsoft 365 setup looks something like this.

  • 01Email on your own domain, with sensible spam filtering
  • 02Multi-factor authentication on every account
  • 03A clear folder structure in SharePoint and OneDrive
  • 04Teams set up for calls, chat and meetings
  • 05A simple joiner and leaver process
  • 06Regular admin reviews so things stay tidy
§ 04A typical migration

No email downtime. Out-of-hours switchover. Done in a week.

The biggest worry with a mailbox migration is the team losing access for a day. We plan migrations so that does not happen, the cutover runs out of hours, and most teams notice nothing on the Monday morning beyond their new mailbox name.

  1. 01 · Week 1, Mon

    Discovery call

We map out what you have, what mailboxes need to come across and any quirks. Quick chat, no obligation.

  2. 02 · Week 1, Tue to Thu

    Tenant build and sync

We set up the clean Microsoft 365 tenant and start syncing mailboxes in the background. Your team is still on the old system, working as usual.

  3. 03 · Week 1, Fri evening

    Switchover out of hours

After your team finishes for the week we flip the DNS, complete the final sync and verify on every device.

  4. 04 · Week 2, Mon

    New Outlook, no fuss

Your team starts the week on the new system. We are available on standby for the first day to sort anything that comes up.

Larger migrations (50+ mailboxes, complex shared mailboxes, custom domains across multiple providers) take longer, but the principle is the same: out of hours, no downtime, your team keeps working. We confirm the timeline in writing before any commit.

§ 05FAQs

Microsoft 365, answered.

  • A.01

Most small businesses benefit from a proper email setup, shared files and good account security. We help you pick a plan that fits, even if there are only one or two of you.

  • A.02

Yes. We plan the migration so old email, contacts and calendars come across cleanly. The cutover is scheduled for a quiet time, and we check everything is working before we sign off.

  • A.03

We run short, practical sessions covering the bits people actually use: Outlook, Teams, shared files and a few sensible habits. No long courses, just the basics done well.

  • A.04

Yes. Our monthly support plans include day-to-day admin, licence reviews, joiner and leaver tasks and quick help when staff need it.

  • A.05

We work with Microsoft 365 every day and configure it to current best practice, but we are a small local IT business in Kent rather than a global reseller. You get the same care either way.
